LOVE AND THEFT and FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE pranked JAKE OWEN by hitting the stage in their underwear, with pacifiers in their mouths and "bottles" of beer.  They were goofing on Jake becoming a father a couple of weeks ago.

Music City took center stage Wednesday night as Taylor Swift and LL Cool J hosted the Grammy Nominations Live! concert special before a packed house at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.  Hunter Hayes was the night's lead country nominee, earning three nods including Best Country Solo Performance for "Wanted" and Best Country Album for his self-titled debut. He's also the only country act in the all-genre Best New Artist category.  Taylor Swift, Eric Church, Carrie Underwood, the Eli Young Band, Ronnie Dunn and the Time Jumpers followed with two nominations each.

Now that he's a dad, Jake Owen understands the depths of a parent's love. He says, "I get now how my parents love me so much. When you're a kid, you don't understand that. You wonder how your parents could love you as much as they say they do."  Little Pearl seems to be enjoying the benefits of a daddy who's a singer and songwriter. "She likes when I make songs up. Like, 'Our little Pearl, came into this world, on Thanksgiving Day, and she had a lot of hair.'"

SHERYL CROW recorded a full-blown country album that will be out in the fall.  Her big concern is that it might not be accepted by country radio.  She says, quote, "My record is probably more country than a lot of country that is getting played on the radio, so I hope I get played."
