Gary Allan is giving away a download of an acoustic version of his single "Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain)" in exchange for a donation to superstorm Sandy relief. To get the download, make a contribution to the American Red Cross through his website. Gary was scheduled to play Atlantic City the day after the storm hit.

 

Condolences to Clint Black, whose father G.A. Black took his own life this past Sunday. Apparently, declining health and the loss of his wife a year and a half ago led him to end his suffering.  Clint says, “Our family is devastated by this news. We are still in the beginning stages of preparations to honor our father, and at this time, we respectfully ask for privacy until we have had the opportunity to fully process what’s transpired over the last 48 hours.” Mr. Black was 78. 

 

CHRIS YOUNG'S doctor put him on vocal rest, so he's postponing three concerts until sometime next year:  His show tomorrow in Huntsville, Alabama . . . Friday's concert in Savannah, Georgia . . . and his show Saturday in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Chris apologized to his fans on his Facebook page.

TAYLOR SWIFT and HARRY STYLES partied together after ONE DIRECTION'S concert Monday night in New York.  A few hours later, around 4:00 A.M., they were photographed holding hands and walking into his hotel.  Pictures are up on the MCM page now.

Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Eric Church were among the VIPs at the private CMT Artists of the Year taping this week near Nashville.   Though the honorees are being kept under wraps until the special airs this weekend, the night included performances by Toby, Jason, Carrie, Miranda and Eric. Luke and Ryan performed together, as did EYB and Kacey.  Hayden Panettiere and Rascal Flatts hosted the event, which premieres Saturday at 9
