The parents of a five-month-old boy have been charged with putting the baby at risk after trying to smuggle him onto a flight at an airport in the United Arab Emirates.

According to police, the baby was discovered during an X-ray screening at Sharjah International Airport. The couple arrived in the United Arab Emirates last Friday, but was denied entry into the country because they didn't have a visa for the baby. They were told to wait for two days for the documents to be processed, but the father grew impatient and convinced his wife to put the baby in a bag in hopes of getting past airport security. The infant is reportedly in good condition.
