It's just a rumor, but Las Vegas's man-in-the-know, Robin Leach, says Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will be doing a residency on the Strip this winter. According to Leach, Tim and Faith have ditched plans to tour together in favor of playing select weekends at a Vegas showroom in November and December.  Tim and Faith would be the third country act to sign on for a residency on the Strip. Garth Brooks is already ensconced at the Wynn's Encore Theater, and Shania Twain begins her residency at Caesars Palace in December.

Rodney Atkins is taking a back road into Alabama this weekend when he performs on the infield at Talledga Superspeedway Saturday night. But Tim McGraw would like to take a front seat at Talledega -- he likes to drive fast. He's also a big fan of Dale Earnhardt Junior and says he'd like to do a Nascar movie some day.

Carrie Underwood is watching hockey-playing husband Mike Fisher's beard get denser as his Nashville Predators compete in the second round of the playoffs. She doesn't love it, but she says, "I get it. I respect the beard." It could get longer, though. Before they met, Mike's team made it to the Stanley Cup and Carrie says he looked like a "mountain man."

Taylor Swift's "Mean" will be featured on Glee on May 15th, with Puck and Coach Bieste dueting. This won't be the first time Glee has included country music. Previous episodes have featured Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now," Toby Keith's "Red Solo Cup" and Dolly Parton's "Jolene."

Jewel will portray June Carter Cash in an upcoming Lifetime network movie based on John Carter Cash's book Anchored in Love: An Intimate Portrait of June Carter Cash. Johnny Cash will be played by Big Love's Matt Ross. Filming is set to begin this summer in Atlanta, and the film will air this year.

Miranda Lambert shows just how cool she is when she tweets, "So, my husband is plainly flirting with Scarlet (Johannsen) on Jay Leno. I would too. She is so amazingly cool and beautiful. He clearly has good taste."
