
Keith Urban was completely shocked by his invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry, which came during his We're All for the Hall benefit on Tuesday night. Keith says he his wife Nicole Kidman never keep secrets from each other, but Nic managed to stay tight-lipped about this one. He tells us, "When I got home she said, 'Do you wished I had told you?' And I said, 'No. On one hand yes, on the sense I would have felt a little more prepared, but no in the sense of genuine shock.'" Keith's Opry induction is on April 21st.

Mindy McCready didn't have the twins she was reportedly expecting. Instead, the troubled singer had a single son, Zayne, on Monday. In a statement, Mindy and her boyfriend David Wilson said, "Zayne is truly a blessing and a joy. It was a long and trying pregnancy; we're so happy he's here. There are no words to convey how happy we are." Mindy's rep said she thought she was carrying twins due to her size and a misinterpreted sonogram. She was last in the news when she took her other son, six-year-old Zander, from the care of her parents, his legal guardians. Mindy said she was happy with the results of a child-welfare hearing in December related to that incident, but was unable to reveal the decision since the court documents were sealed.
